Mobo Restaurant brings a Kyoto-inspired Japanese dining experience to Kangaroo Point, tucked beneath the Story Bridge and close to the Brisbane River. Established in 2012, the restaurant is built around carefully prepared Japanese food, genuine hospitality and a calm setting intended to feel like a small escape from the city. Its interior is described through soft lantern light and warm timber, creating a quieter atmosphere for lunch, dinner or a special occasion.

The menu covers a broad range of Japanese styles, including sashimi, sushi, hand-made rolls, izakaya-style skewers, charcoal-grilled dishes, tempura, larger plates and hotpot. Standout signatures include the Wagyu Melt, made with flamed wagyu and teriyaki glaze, and the Volcano Salmon Don, which combines flamed salmon, seasoned sushi rice, avocado, egg, mayonnaise, teriyaki sauce, tobiko and shallots.
