Land Street Gallery

Land Street Gallery is an independent exhibition and studio space in Toowong, Brisbane, presenting contemporary work by artists from different disciplines and backgrounds. Open since 2019, it supports artists at early, mid and later career stages, with a programme that combines exhibitions, workshops and a four-month studio period.

The gallery’s exhibition history shows a broad and varied programme. Past projects have included Chernobyl and Pripyat, Here and There, Near and Far, Now and Then, TABULA RASA, and Toyah Robinson’s Reservoir of the Everyday, alongside presentations by artists including Lyn Bartolo, Trish Evans, Mia Clayton, Vyara Malcheva and Maikki Toivanen. This makes it a useful place to encounter changing practices rather than a permanent collection or single artistic style.

The website lists Good ARI Magazine Launch as the current exhibition, with an opening scheduled for 6pm on Saturday 18 July 2026. The launch features work by Angel, Kyla Bass, Gretel Chapman, Elizabeth Clifford, Luke Fontaine, Kelly Kelly, Pete Kozak, Shonnie Lea, Xana Robbins and Ryan Wall, along with a talk by Ameya Jaurigue and live music from Drunk Drivers.
