Judith Wright Arts Centre

Judith Wright Arts Centre is a contemporary visual and performing arts hub in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The centre hosts performances, exhibitions and workshops through its resident arts companies, while also offering spaces for hire near the CBD.

Its tenants include Australasian Dance Collective, BlakDance, CIRCA, Institute of Modern Art, Musica Viva Australia, Outer Space, Little Red Stage Queensland and QTouring, alongside the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts and other arts organisations. The centre also presents Australasian Dance Collective’s Mature Classes, held on Saturdays for people interested in joyful movement. No previous dance experience is required, and the classes are described as welcoming, inclusive and stimulating, with a focus on physical and creative development.
