The restaurant was founded by former MasterChef Australia 2014 contestant Emily Yeoh, who developed the menu from the food traditions associated with her grandmother and presents them alongside Asian-fusion influences.

The menu spans more than one regional style, with dishes inspired by street food from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. The restaurant specifically highlights Roast Duck and Char-Xiu Pork, while its mud crab dishes are among the signatures that regulars seek out. For a larger occasion, the restaurant is advertising its Heart To Table Crab Banquet for April 2026, with the banquet available for that month only and bookings requiring a note with the number of guests and the requested banquet. The broader menu includes dinner, drinks, desserts and takeaway, giving diners the choice of eating in or enjoying the restaurant’s dishes at home. The complete banquet is the exception to the takeaway offering.
