Range Brewing

Range Brewing is a Brisbane small-batch brewery built around modern craft beer, with an ever-changing release schedule rather than a fixed, familiar lineup. The brewery says it makes and releases a diverse range each week, using different techniques, styles and hops to keep developing its approach. Its online range spans pale ales, sours, IPAs, DIPAs, TIPAs, ginger beer and non-alcoholic beer, with mixed boxes and gift vouchers available for taking the experience home.

The brewery’s taproom offers 16 rotating taps, giving visitors a chance to try fresh releases alongside wine and cocktails. Takeaway beer and merchandise are also available, and bookings are offered for groups wanting to settle in together. Named releases include Disco, a DDH pale ale; Sunshine, an XPA; Dreams, a hazy IPA; Hard Ginger Beer; and Low Key, a non-alcoholic option. The brewery also sells mixed packs such as the Forever Range Taster Pack. Range began in Newstead in 2018, founded by Matt McIver and Gerard Martin after the pair developed an appreciation for modern beer while travelling. Their original idea was to bring high-quality, fresh, small-batch beer to Australia, and the brewery has since grown into a group of hospitality venues including Patio by Range in Paddington, Rays by Range in Camp Hill and The Bethnal, an events and wedding space in Newstead.
