Why it's worth checking out

Osbourne Hotel is a Fortitude Valley pub built around flexible nights out, whether you are dropping in for a casual drink, settling in for a long lunch or heading out for live entertainment. At 766 Ann Street, on the corner of Ann and Constance streets, it sits in the Valley’s entertainment precinct and is close to Fortitude Valley Station, New Farm and Brisbane’s CBD. The venue is open seven days from 11am until late, with bookings recommended for weekends and larger groups.

Food covers familiar pub territory, including pizzas, pub classics, share plates and late-night bites. Its regular specials give the menu a practical point of difference: two-for-one classics on Mondays, $17 burgers on Tuesdays, $17 parmi on Wednesdays and $19 rump on Thursdays. The beer offering is a major focus, with 31 rotating taps alongside cans and craft beers, ranging from easy-drinking standards to local and less common releases. Cocktails and wine are also available, making it easy to suit different tastes within one group.

The atmosphere shifts with the occasion. Multiple bars, a large beer garden, big screens, DJs, live music and sporting events make it suited to energetic evenings, while the venue also hosts drag brunches, trivia, UFC and other programmed events. The website presents the Osbourne as a venue that celebrates diversity and welcomes everything from relaxed catch-ups to late-night crowds. It has also received Queensland awards for draught beer and late-night entertainment, as well as a national entertainment award.

For organised gatherings, the hotel has more than six function areas, ranging from intimate rooms to larger exclusive-use spaces. Options include cocktail-style rooms, private upstairs areas, a garden-oriented Glasshouse and the outdoor Backyard, with function capacity listed from small groups through to 300 guests. Corporate meetings, birthdays, celebrations and larger parties are all catered for, with audio-visual facilities available in several spaces. Walk-ins are welcome for ordinary visits, but groups will be better served by booking ahead.
