Limitless Performance
A West End gym with a near-perfect 4.9-star average from 80-plus reviews.
Why it's worth checking out
Limitless Performance Centre is a locally owned gym in West End, Brisbane, offering more than open access to equipment. Its approach centres on coaching, personalised programming and a clear plan for progress, with options including one-on-one coaching, small group training, athlete development and 24/7 access for experienced, self-directed members. The gym is at Unit 2/26 Bailey Street and is rated 4.9 from 80 Google reviews.
New members can begin with a No Sweat Intro: a conversation with the team about training history, schedule, injuries and goals, followed by a recommendation for the most suitable starting point. KickStart provides six individual coaching sessions for beginners, new members or people returning after time away. There is also a more tailored coaching option with a 1:4 coach-to-client ratio, combining individual programming with the energy and structure of a small group setting. High school athletes can train through a program designed around strength, confidence, resilience and sustainable performance habits.
The centre presents itself as supportive and practical rather than intimidating, with coaching that adapts to the individual instead of relying on generic workouts. Its stated community includes busy professionals, FIFO workers, veterans, first responders, student athletes, adults over 50, experienced lifters and people rebuilding confidence after a break or injury. That makes it suitable for solo members seeking guidance as well as people who prefer the accountability of a coached group environment.
Limitless Performance was founded by Luke Everett, a former Australian Army Special Operations soldier who moved into coaching after a 14-year military career. He built the gym from the ground up in seven weeks in 2021, and later led its recovery after the facility was submerged by 1.5 metres of water during a 2022 natural disaster. His coaching combines evidence-based training with a focus on the connection between physical capability and mindset. The result is a West End training space built around structure, education and consistency, with a clear emphasis on helping members understand why they are training and how to keep progressing.
