The chocolates are produced in small quantities using premium chocolate and ingredients sourced from local Queensland producers, including seasonal produce that can influence the flavours available.

The range is designed to be explored by taste and smell rather than appearance. Alongside the broader selection of handmade chocolates, the website highlights the Chocolate First Aid Kit, a gift pack containing 12 different treats, including chocolate hearts, bells, milk chocolate bullets, malt balls, peanuts, sultanas, pineapple lumps, marshmallow fish, Clangers, Forest Fruits, chocolate stars and chocolate buds. Chocolate Moments was developed by Brisbane local, Paralympian and chocolate enthusiast Gerrard Gosens and his wife, Heather. Gerrard’s lack of sight helped shape the venue’s focus on flavour and aroma, creating a chocolate experience that encourages customers to rely on their senses. That story gives the shop a clear point of difference without taking attention away from the handmade products themselves.

The Brisbane City venue also offers a café experience with freshly ground Montville coffee, sweet treats and a view towards the on-site kitchen. It suits a solo chocolate stop, a catch-up with friends or anyone looking for a gift, while the gift packs and collection service make it practical for planned purchases. Orders can be placed ahead for collection from the Brisbane stores, with at least five days’ notice requested because the chocolates are made fresh and handled carefully.
