Why it's worth checking out
Warehouse 25 is a bar, restaurant, bottle shop and working gin distillery at 25 Finchley Street in Milton. Set inside a converted warehouse behind the XXXX Brewery, it pairs the building’s industrial character with more polished touches. Drinks include botanical gin and vodka made on-site, while the venue also serves food and Queensland beers. It is open Wednesday to Sunday, with extended hours on event days.
The space is designed to shift with the occasion. Visitors can drop in for a mid-week meal or a drink, meet friends before an event at Suncorp Stadium, or book the venue for a birthday, engagement party or corporate function. Private events can make use of the distillery floor, mezzanine and outdoor courtyard, with lighting and layouts adjusted to suit the gathering. The venue’s location, described as close to both Suncorp Stadium and Brisbane’s CBD, makes it a practical option for groups planning a night out around the city or Milton.
Music and performance remain central to Warehouse 25’s identity. The venue says it has been part of Brisbane’s underground music scene since 2015, when the site was used for warehouse parties and global acts. Since 2020, it has operated as a dedicated bar, distillery and function space, while continuing to support DJs, live performers, showcases, immersive art and other events. Its three performance areas—the Distillery, Mezzanine and Basement—give the venue a flexible setup for both intimate gatherings and larger productions, supported by professional audiovisual facilities.
Warehouse 25 suits visitors looking for more than a conventional bar: it can work for a casual meal, a pre-game drink, a celebration or a programmed music event. Its strongest point of difference is the combination of locally made spirits, a working distillery and a warehouse setting with a clear connection to Brisbane’s creative culture. The current operators, Angus, Steve and John, took on the venue’s next chapter in 2026, bringing hospitality and industry experience to a site that has evolved from music hall to community-focused bar and events venue.
