Point Hotel is a Brisbane stay listed in West End, with the hotel’s own website tracing its story to 1999 and describing its setting as Kangaroo Point. Its current direction is centred on an ongoing transformation, with the property positioning itself as an inner-city retreat for guests who want a place to pause, explore and settle in.

The main new addition is KIN Bar & Dining on the ground floor. Open from morning through to evening, KIN offers breakfast, light bites, dinner and drinks in a warm, welcoming room designed for gathering and lingering. Its food approach focuses on Australian produce, seasonal market ingredients and familiar dishes alongside contemporary interpretations, with Manhattan dining rooms cited as part of the design influence. Breakfast, food, banquet and drinks menus are available, and room service is also offered for hotel guests.

The atmosphere is intended to feel polished without being formal: considered, comfortable and relaxed enough for a catch-up, a meal during a stay or time on your own. The Level 12 rooftop is temporarily closed while it undergoes a refresh, and the hotel says further dining concepts, including Aira Rooftop and Frank’s Pantry, are planned for later. For now, KIN is the clearest on-site dining option, while the rest of the hotel’s services and amenities continue to operate. It suits travellers looking for accommodation with an on-site restaurant and a broad day-to-evening dining option, as well as locals wanting to try the new ground-floor venue.
