Why it's worth checking out

Long Island Brisbane is a design-led shopping and lifestyle destination in Teneriffe, bringing retail, food, wellness, art and bespoke services together around a treelined piazza. The setting is a major part of the experience: visitors move through landscaped spaces with waterfalls, fountains, reflective ponds, bougainvillea and pink-flowering trees. A striking five-storey Tree of Life forms the centrepiece, with a boutique hotel-style reception and lobby lounge beneath an atrium of light, lime plaster, metalwork and a faceted skylight.

Food and drink are spread across a mix of casual and more polished spaces. Baker D. Chirico is the standout bakery and café, and the Queensland flagship is the only location of its name outside the Melbourne bakeries in Carlton and South Yarra. It is led by Daniel Chirico and his team, who make loaves and pastries using traditional bread-making methods, natural fermentation and biodynamic stone-milled wholegrain flour. The wider precinct also includes TFP Cafe & Lounge, a rooftop restaurant and bar, Evra Market, an Italian restaurant and bar, and Gelataria La Terrazza.

Wellness is another defining feature. Long Island’s offering includes TFP Health Club, described as a four-storey, architect-designed facility, along with a Healing Lounge, TFP Wellness, rooftop thermal pools, a rooftop urban farm and services including physiotherapy, a day spa, medi-spa and hyperbaric chamber. Other listed businesses and facilities include a hair salon, kids club, dog grooming and daycare, and premium car detailing. That range makes the precinct relevant to people combining errands with exercise, self-care or a meal, rather than treating it as a single-purpose shopping centre.

There are options for different kinds of visits, too. Evra Events provides a garden setting for celebrations, corporate functions and private dining, while the piazza and lounge spaces offer a calmer backdrop for a solo coffee or a catch-up. Families may find the kids club and dog-care services useful, and groups have the option of event and dining spaces. With current and upcoming retail outlets set among architecture, gardens and wellness facilities, Long Island Brisbane is best approached as a destination to browse, eat and spend time, not simply a place to make one quick purchase.

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.1 from 34 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
