INTERSECTION PROJECT brings several distinct food and coffee operators together between 155 Charlotte Street and 150 Mary Street in Brisbane CBD. It is designed as a convenient city stop for workers and visitors, with specialty coffee, pastries and modern dishes available under one roof. The venue’s focus is broad enough for a quick coffee or pastry, while Neue Kitchen provides a more considered option for a morning or daytime meal.

Coffee is central to the offering. Guest Coffee operates as an international roaster kiosk, inviting a different overseas roaster each month; the current roaster listed is KAWA Coffee from Paris. Coffee Anthology, which relocated from Margaret Street, serves Australian specialty roasters on rotation. The coffee menu includes espresso and filter options, the Standard Blend by Brisbane’s The Maillard Project, and the Maverick Blend by Brisbane’s Cavalier Coffee Roaster. Pour-over coffees are also available, with rotating beans from roasters including The Maillard Project, Proud Mary Coffee Roasters and Sample Coffee.

The Whisk handles the pastry offering, with sweet and savoury pastries baked fresh in the city each day. The operation is led by award-winning chef Justin Yu and is presented as a contemporary patisserie, making it a natural choice for a pastry alongside coffee or a takeaway for the office. Neue Kitchen FIKA takes the venue in a more meal-focused direction, serving modern dishes built around seasonal and native ingredients. Its name refers to the Swedish idea of taking a coffee break with friends and pausing to appreciate good things.

With multiple operators and a range that moves from carefully sourced coffee to pastries and daytime dishes, INTERSECTION PROJECT suits solo coffee drinkers, city workers and visitors wanting to explore different Australian and international coffee offerings in one CBD location. Walk-ins are welcomed, although same-day bookings are not accepted. Groups of seven or more should enquire through the contact form, while smaller groups can use the booking system; bookings are only confirmed once a confirmation email is received.
